More Companies on board as prize monies increase and changes made
With all systems in place, all roads lead to the Port Mourant
(Big Yard) Turf Club, today, for the mouthwatering Four Horsemen Top Brandz Corona Beer Emancipation one Day horserace meet.
With all entries in place and all systems set, the venue is expected to be packed for the fireworks expected to explode. Meanwhile, Poonai Pharmacy and AFF Shipping Agency are the latest to join the list of sponsors for the seven race meet which has a prize package of $5M in cash, trophies and other incentives up for the takings. Over 60 horses have taken entry.
A top Class field now include Honey Flow, Quiet Dancer and Brave Sky who have been entered in the feature event which is now for animals E1 and lower for a winning pocket of $600,000 and the Top Branz Corona Beer trophy over 1300M. They will have their work cut out against the likes of Witchy Poo, Storm Bird, Media Day, Climate Change, Bridal stone Corner and Because I Say So.
The Three Year Old Top Brandz Corona 1300M Classic for a top prize of $500,000 have the likes of Puppy Tail, King Stanley, Seven Dust, De Rock, Governa Ground Gal, Fresh Dancer, Supreme Cat, Natural Beauty competing in the Co-feature event.
The H class event is now an open affair with Its Mt Turn, Super Bowl, Sweet Return, Quiet Dancer, Bridal Stone Corner, T and T and Midnight Blues running in the 1200M for a first prize of $300,000 and trophy.
The 2 yrs old Guyana bred animals will be racing for the first time. The winning prize is $250,000 and trophy with Release the Heat, Dona View, Perfect Return, Touch Gold, Jungle Princess and Princess Sharia in contention.
Red Jet, Party Time, Daddy’s Dollar and Mary Ann are in contention in the I3 & lower 200M race for a wining prize of $200,000 and trophy.
The J3 and 4 years and older and K class event will be racing over 1100M for a winning prize of $150,000 over 1100M. I am back, Red Region, Not This Time, Big Man in Town, Flow Joe, Daddy Dollar, Supreme Cat, Golden Kiss, Slim Shady and De Rock will be in action.
The L class non earners event has over 15 entries as they compete for the $120,000 take home and trophy over 1200M.
Sponsors on board are Top Brandz Distributors, Delmur Company Limited, Toolsie Persaud Limited, Assuria Insurance Company, Cummings Electrical, R.N Poonai Fazal Habibulla, Sankar Auto Works –Valvoline, Fix It Hard Ware and Bothers Incorporated among others. Most of the trophies were sourced from overseas.
The top jockeys along with the runner up, the top stable, champion trainer and best dressed groom will all be presented with trophies and other incentives compliments of the organisers.
