One of the early escapees would attract police presence in a built-up area and cause panic in the community. The information would be correct, but there would be a temporary standoff because of the habit people have of running toward danger.
In the end the police would prevail, because one enterprising policeman would sneak in. The fatality would be unnecessary.

A picnic would end when a child would be reported missing. A search would be launched and in the end a relative would actually remove the child without the parents’ knowledge. That would spark a dispute, the kind that sometimes leads to fatal injuries.

Another robbery would be reported in the east of the country. The homeowners would be subjected to a period of terror because one of the bandits would actually resort to violence to achieve his objective.
