Dear Editor,
The Tuesday, March 21, 2017 edition of the Kaieteur Newspaper carried a letter captioned “For 19 years, this Company only paid NIS six times for me.” Please be advised that the National Insurance Scheme NIS is in receipt of a letter and documents from the writer, Mr Hubert Joseph Cramer-Seon and has sent an acknowledgement letter to Kaburi Amerindian Village, 72 miles Potaro River, the address that is stated on NIS’ records.
Please note that while employment with Willems Timbers Ltd is still being investigated, no record of his employment with Toolsie Persaud Ltd was found. The National Insurance Scheme regrets any inconvenience Mr. Cramer-Seon may have experienced and wishes to reassure him that his matter has gained Management’s attention. Every effort is being made to have it resolved so that Mr. Cramer- Seon could be paid whatever benefit he is entitled to.
