A special session of the Full Court attracted 10 judges on Wednesday in the Berbice High Court, New Amsterdam. The session, which was chaired by Justice Yonette Cummings-Edwards was held to pay tribute to the memory

of deceased attorneys at law Rupert Trim, Marcel Christopher Crawford, SC, Joseph Annamayah and Perry Dridhnauth Gossai.
Paying glowing tributes to the late attorneys were Justice Cummings-Edwards; Chief Parliamentary Counsel John Fung-a-Fat; Ms Deena Panday, President of the Berbice Bar Association; and prominent Attorney at Law Murseline Bacchus.
Ten of the 13 active judges in Guyana were present, among them Justice Roxane George, Justice Dawn Gregory, Justice Brassington Reynolds, Justice Sandra Kurtzious, Justice Diana Insanally, Justice James Bovell-Drakes, Justice Navindra Singh, Justice Franklyn Holder and Justice Jo Ann Barlow.
Also in attendance was Melissa Robertson, the Land Court judge in Berbice,
Members of the Berbice Bar Association were present in their numbers to support relatives of the deceased. Registrar Sueanna Lovell, Deputy Registrar Alicia Lowenfield and Retired Justice Winston Patterson were also present.
