Survivors of Blankenburg fatal accident stable
Mark Halley and Michelle Miguel, who were both involved in a tragic accident which claimed the lives of their two children, 10-month-old Baby Marvin and seven-year-old Tina, have been listed as stable at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
A source at the hospital told this publication that the doctors have prohibited the young man from seeing anyone. The reason for this, the source could not explain.
According to reports, the duo along with the two children was heading to Parika when tragedy struck along the Blankenburg Public Road.
A Police source had informed this publication that the car, PRR 38, which was reportedly being driven by Halley was proceeding west at a fast rate when he lost control and slammed into two vehicles that were parked south along the thoroughfare.
Both children succumbed on arrival to the Leonora Diagnostic Centre whilst Halley and Miguel were rushed to the GPHC’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The death of these children came at days after four-year-old Ambeka Providence passed away after she was involved in an accident with her mother.
Prime Minister, Moses Nagamootoo, has since made an appeal to all drivers to practice caution along our roadways.
