3-day closure for works on Carifesta Ave., Railway Embankment
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure yesterday announced that Carifesta Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from today, June 29, 2016 to Friday, July 1, 2016.
This closure will be to facilitate asphalt work, the ministry said.
At the same time, the Railway Embankment, between the Eugene F. Correia Airport Access Road and UG Access Road, will also be closed.
“Road users are therefore asked to use alternative bypasses for this period. Please pay attention to all caution and directional signs in the area.
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure regrets any inconvenience caused.”
