Zone B and C registered victories when the Enterprise Busta Sports Club Inter-Zone T20 competition commenced on Sunday last. Zone C defeated Zone A by eight wickets. Batting first, Zone A made 108-8 with Bhaskar Yadram scoring 35 and Seemangal Yadram 18; L. Dindyal and Vivian Albert picked up two wickets each.
Zone C responded with 113-2 in 11 overs. Albert struck 34 and Pradesh Balkissoon 31. K. Hookumchand and C. Singh had one wicket each. Zone B hammered Zone D by nine wickets. Zone D batted first and posted 124-9. V. Persaud got 27 and D. Prashad 13; B. Samaroo claimed 3-13 and B. Deodat 2-11. Zone B replied with 128-1 in 16.2 overs. K. Mohamed led with 62 while Rohan Mangal made 20. S. Ramkarran had 1-22.
