Red Force dump Jaguars out of NAGICO Super 50 by 54 runs

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Trinidad and Tobago Red Force dumped the Guyana Jaguars out of the Regional Super50 at Queen’s Park Oval yesterday by 54 runs in the first semi-final match.

The Red Force scored 259 for nine off 50 overs with Darren Bravo leading the way with 95. He got support from Denesh Ramdin 43 and Kjorn Ottley 33. Bowling for Guyana, Veerasammy Permaul captured 3-56, Steven Jacobs 2-12 and Paul Wintz 2-67.
The Jaguars were rolled over for 205 off 48.3 overs with Anthony Bramble leading a fight back after the top three batsmen were bugged down by decent bowling, top scored with 51. Paul Wintz supported with 26 and Chris Barnwell 22 down the order. Jon-Russ Jaggesar picked up 3-36, Narsingh Deonarine 2-35, including the wicket of Shivnarine Chanderpaul, and Akeal Hosein took 2-42.
The T&T Red Force await the winner of today second semifinal between Windward Is Volcanoes versus the Barbados Pride again at the Queens Park in Port of Spain.
