On December 8, last, in the vicinity of Queenstown, while armed with a knife, he robbed Mayleen Fernandez of her hand bag and other articles; another charge read that on December 10, also in the vicinity of Queenstown, he robbed Yaa Edwards of her hand bag, one gold ring and one LG smart cell phone.

However, he pleaded not guilty to the charge which read that on December 17, he, in the company of others, robbed Chitarlakha Candice of one wallet, two cell phones, one bottle perfume, one purse and one phone charger.
That same day, Wilson was armed with a knife, confronted Candice in Queenstown and demanded that she release her hand bag. She subsequently defended herself. Wilson, in retaliation drew his knife and injured the woman.
Vigilant security guards in the area saw the incident and discharged several rounds in his direction. He was afterwards apprehended and arrested by Police Ranks.
The Magistrate sentenced Wilson to three years imprisonment on each charge and ordered that they run concurrently.
Police Prosecutor, Corporal Deniro Jones told the court that in the case of Fernandez, she had refused the defendants’ demands and threw her bag in another yard. The defendant then punched her, retrieved the bag and made his way with the items.
Wilson, who was not represented by an Attorney, told the court in his defence that he has been under severe pressure and due to his financial status within his home, he resorted to crime.
