North Georgetown Primary defeated St Agnes by 17 runs to book their spot in the final of the
North Georgetown zone of the Guyana Cricket Board/Scotiabank Kiddy Progression One cricket competition which continued recently.
Batting first, North Georgetown Primary posted 133-8 in 14 overs. Shiloh Adams struck 37; Nigel Lowemade made 19 while Yannick Norton and Mervin Sears got 16 each. Malachi Devanand took 2 wickets.
In reply, St Agnes Primary were limited to 116-5 off their 14 overs. Nikel Carter and Sherwin Sampson made 30 apiece; Adams returned to take two wickets. Action continues today in the East Bank Demerara Zone with Supply Primary taking on Craig New Diamond playing Grove at the Thirst Park.
In the South Georgetown Zone, West Ruimveldt will battle St. Pius Primary at the Racquet Centre ground.
