At Cumberland, Hamid Eleven won against No 7 by 8 wickets. No 7 won the toss and batted first scoring 105 all out off their allotted 20 overs. Raymond Mohamed made 25 and J. Bowler 21. 72-year-old Zamin Hamid continued his fine form taking 3 for 12. I. Kamaludin with 3 for 12 supported him. In reply, Hamid Eleven raced to 106 for 2 in 9.5 overs. J. Kamaludin blasted 54 not out and S. Latchana 26. Mohamed returned to take 2 for 26.
Again at Cumberland, Young Warriors beat Kendall’s Union Big Team by 37 runs. Batting first after winning the toss, the host amassed 192 for 6 off the allotted 20 overs. Popular umpire Zaheer Moakhan scored a classy 66 with 4×4 and 5×6. Berbice youth player Alex Algoo supported with 60 consisting of 4×4 and 3×6 and national under-17 all rounder Kevin Sinclair made 27. The visitors give a good account of themselves and were always in the hunt until they lost their way in the last few overs. They ended on 155 for 7 off 20 overs with Dasrat Debidin 50 and skipper Navendra Mangra 48. Bowling for the YWCC, youth left arm spinner Trevon Stanislaus took 3 for 21. Kristoff Bahadur 31, Berbice junior player Sasenarine Sukhu 22 and Khemraj Dyal 22 were the principal scorers. Bowling for Canje Pathfinders, Mark Sampson 2 for 14 and Andre Sobhai 2 for 22 were the wicket takers. The visitors reached 138 for 8 in exactly 20 overs with Doodnauth Arjune 52 not out and Videsh Singh 36. Bowling for RHCC, skipper Ameer Rahaman 2 for 17, Andre Grant 2 for 20 and Zachary Persaud 2 for 27.
