Guyana Wydo-Ryu Karate Association holds Annual Kumite Tournament
The Guyana Wado Ryu Karate Association (GWKA) held its annual Kumite Karate tournament last Sunday October 18th at the Banks DIH Sports Club. The event was declared open by the President of the GWKA
The successful participants at last Sunday’s Guyana Wado Ryu Karate Association annual Kumite Karate tournament take time out for a photo after the action at the Banks DIH Sports Club.
Darren Nurse and was coordinated by 7th Dan Sensei Winston Dunbar. The main sponsors of the event were Banks DIH Ltd. and Massay Distribution.
In excess of 40 karatekas in junior and senior categories representing 4 dojos of the GWKA participated in the event with many turning in exciting performances to crown a successful day. The results for the divisions were as follows:
