Airport X1 defeated the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce

(MTIC) by 22 runs to win the final of the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport (MCYS) knockout Day/Night Tapeball competition played recently at the National Park Tarmac.
Airport XI batted first and scored 132-8 off their 12 overs while MTIC replied with 110-7.
MTIC overcame Audit Office of Guyana by the five runs in the semi final. MTIC took first strike and scored 144-5. Audit Office of Guyana responded with 139-7.
Airport thumped MCYS by 61 runs their next semi final matchup. Airport made 140 all out with extras contributing 25. Bowling for MCYS, Mark Cumberbatch claimed 3-10 and Alfred King 2-28.
MCYS were reduced to 6-6 but managed 79 including 24 extras, in reply.
