The long awaited Macorp Caddy Tournament of the Lusignan Golf Club (normally played shortly after the Guyana Open and Macorp Classic) was run off on Sunday last with Kevin Dinanauth emerging as the champion with a Best Gross of 83.
Scores to determine other winners in the Senior category were based on the Best Net count, first was Ivor Laudin 79(/5), second Kevin Dinanauth 80(/3), and third, Robin Tiwari 81(/5). Nearest to The Pin was won by Harrycharan Danai.
In the Junior category (played only over 9 holes), first was Jamal Mohamad with a gross of 51 and second Vicky Baldeo with gross 53.
Caddy Manager Mr. Roy Cummings expressed appreciation on behalf of the Lusignan Golf Club for the continued annual support of Macorp in sponsorship of both the members’ tournament and the caddies’ tournament.
In reply, Macorp’s representative standing in for Mr. Damien Lewis, Marketing Manager, congratulated the winners of the day’s competition and indicated that Macorp was happy to continue contributing to golfing in Guyana.
