With the aim of improving the cricketing talents on the Essequibo Coast, Forbes Daniels will conduct four-day coaching clinics for U-15 male and female cricketers starting from 09:00 hrs Monday at the Essequibo Cricket Board hostel, Anna Regina.
According to Daniels, the programme will be held at various venues so as to facilitate players from different villages and is likely to conclude at Imam Bacchus ground, Affiance.
Students will be taught about the basics of the cricket, including batting, bowling, fielding and game scenarios while discipline and the importance of education are among the topics listed.
