Farfan & Mendes Junior Christmas Squash tournament commences today
The Guyana Squash Association in collaboration with its number one corporate sponsor Digicel will run off the Annual Farfan & Mendes Junior Christmas Squash Tournament, at the Georgetown Club Inc. Squash Courts.
The tournament which will commence today is anticipated to have most of the country’s leading junior players competing for top honours and according to a release from the GSA forty-five players have entered the tournament and they have been divided into eight categories with players of equal skill levels in the respective groups.
The release added that a few of the players will be using the tournament as a warm up, before they depart these shores to participate in the Canadian and US Junior Open tournaments scheduled to be held later this month.
