Little DIVA Flames Football Club has been invited to play a friendly game in the GFA Stag
Beer Futsal Competition being played at the Sports Hall today 13th November 2014 against a Georgetown All Stars team commencing at 19:00hrs.
The DIVAS team will come from – Jennel Brown, Aaliyah Stanley, Mariska Corbin, Shania Riley, Abiose Heywood, Anastasia Horsham, Aqueena Forde, Keisha Gordon, Troy Ann Barton, Atabia James, Priscilla Wilkia, Eboni Ross, Cindy Mc Pherson, Seida Dummett, Rennay Shepherd, Gabriella Silva, Shomell Daniels & Deborah Waldron. The coach is Colin McNicols.
During the Easter period the DIVAS placed second in a 5-a-side tournament played in Lethem. A Brazilian team placed 1st. Four teams took part.
Meanwhile, the DIVAS will be travelling to Linden on Saturday 29th November 2014 to participate in the 3rd KAYO’s Football Academy in collaboration with Rickland “Tallo” Hutson – 1day U13 and U16 Youth Challenge Football Cup Fiesta at the MSC Ground. This tournament is basically a male affair but the DIVAs will be fielding a team to play against the U16 boys category.
