Seventeen-year-old labourer, Delroy White, who was charged with wounding his friend on May 17, last, was placed on $30,000 bail by Magistrate Faith McGusty.
White pleaded not guilty to the offence, when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate Court, on Tuesday. On May 17 at East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, he allegedly wounded Jermaine La Black.
He is being represented by Attorney-at-Law, Adrian Thompson, who requested bail in a reasonable sum for his client after he told the Court that the teenagers were friends and do not wish to proceed with the matter.
However, when asked by Magistrate McGusty, La Black said he will go ahead with the matter against White.
The matter has been adjourned to June 16.
