Kalawattie Persaud of Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo has won a trip for two to the final of the Limacol Caribbean Premier League (LCPL) T20 in Trinidad and Tobago after taking part in Courts shopping competition.

over $149,999 between July 16 and August 13. The draw was done on Friday August 16 in the presence of Internal and External Auditors from Ram and Mc Rae.
Yesterday at Courts Main Street branch, Persaud was presented with her tickets for the trip. Persaud and her husband Rabindranauth Roopnarine will travel to the twin island republic and will be accommodated at Hilton Hotel, additionally they will be given transportation and meal allowances as well as spending money; the couple’s airport tax will also be taken care of by Courts.
Persaud in an invited comment thanked the management of Courts, stating that she is happy to be a winner and is excited about the trip. She declared that she hopes the Guyana Amazon Warriors make it to the final and win the tournament; the final will be played on Saturday at the Queens Park Oval.
