Pouderoyen Group captures three prizes at 4th Annual ‘Big Ride’
A Group from Pouderoyen West Bank Demerara copped three prizes in their first year of participation in the 4th Annual Big Ride which was organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, (National Aids Secretariat) and the Guyana Cycling Federation held recently.
The outstanding Group of riders from Pouderoyen poses for a photo op following the completion of the 4th Annual ‘Big Ride’ recently.
The group which consisted of boys, girls and parents captured the Best Uniformed Group; the largest Youth Group and the group with the most female participation. The Group which numbered around fifty (50) participants was organised and sponsored by Bhola Nauth Ramraj, a resident of the community and he pledged to continue his support for the venture in the future.
