Accident and Emergency Unit’s triage area
According to GPHC, “completion of this exercise will significantly improve the services offered at the ‘waiting and triage’ areas.”
The reconfiguration will see the addition of two examination beds, two nurses’ desks and one doctor’s desk. The waiting area will be shifted to the northern end of the unit for easy access to washroom facilities.
The exercise will not disrupt the daily functioning of the unit administering medical services, the hospital said.
