on his promise by setting his partner’s La Parfaite Harmonie house alight at 01:30am on July 9, 2010.
Reports are that on the night of July 8, 2010, Harris visited his partner, Isabella Hinds’ workplace and threatened to burn her house down. That same night, the man told one of Hind’s relatives that he will burn the house down.
Acting on his threats, Harris went to Hinds’ home and set it alight early the following morning.
Since then, Harris has been hiding from the police.
According to Hinds, she lived with the accused for five weeks, “I put him out because he was using cocaine and weed and I don’t want to get into trouble with the law.
After I put him out, he used to come and break in my house and thief up my raw rice. I made a lot of reports at the station but up to today I am not getting any justice. Right now I am staying in a lil shop in my yard. I don’t have a bed nothing,” Hinds lamented.

The woman is now fighting for justice. She claimed that her lifetime earnings disappeared in a “wink” while the culprit is on the run and the police are not supportive. (Romila Boodram)
