Hadi’s World Inc. softball begins Sunday

The Hadi’s World Inc., formerly the City Mall of Regent & Camp Sts., Male/Female nationwide softball cricket tournament begins Sunday throughout the country. The competition is being played in three categories: Male Open 15/15, Female Open 10/10, and Male over 40 yrs 25/25. Winning prizes for each category is $100,000 and a trophy, Runner-up is $50,000.00 and a trophy. Player of the Tournament and Player of the Match in the finals will each receive $10,000 and a trophy.
The competition will be put on hold for two weeks: Feb. 19th & 26th at the beginning of the GT&T 10/10 tournament. The day/night finals are readjusted to April 28th. Teams from Demerara are asked to call Wayne Jones at 650-1790 or 225-0994. For West Berbice call Robby Saywack at 660-0049 or 688-7622. For East Berbice: Roy Jafferally at 654-8187. Essequibo: Khalid Baksh at 618-1905.
