Agricola man shot after fleeing from police
A man was shot in the right arm in Second Street, Agricola, East Bank Demerara (EBD) yesterday after police tried to apprehend the man, after they suspected him to have had marijuana in his possession.
The man was identified as Terence John of 89, Second Street, Agricola EBD. He was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was treated and taken into police custody.
Residents in the area claimed that they were unaware of the incident.
