A drunk driver was last evening spared the worst fate when he careened the

The drunken man lay slumped over the steering wheel of the vehicle for close to half hour unaware of what had transpired, before being removed by his colleagues who turned up at the scene.
He was subsequently removed from the vehicle which was later pulled out of the canal.
The Land Rover vehicle PMM 9186 bore the emblem “CCB Eye Care Guyana” on its doors.
