Man found floating in city canal
The body of an Afro-Guyanese male was found floating in the canal near the
Police ranks helping to fish the body out of the canal.
Government Technical Institute (GTI), yesterday.
According to reports, the body had been there for approximately three days; it was bloated and decomposing making it difficult for an accurate analysis. There is a possibility of foul play, but the police have yet to make that determination.
Further examination will be done by the Pathologist to accurately determine the cause of death.
