Ramdin spurs T&T to Champions League warm-up win

An aggressive 45-ball 71 with four fours and three sixes by West Indies Keeper Denesh Ramdin and an impressive display by leg-spinner Samuel Badree (3-7) helped Trinidad & Tobago record a 66-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders yesterday in their warm-up game ahead of the Champions League T20 qualifiers.
And a solid 98 from 54 balls from Martin Guptill helped Auckland Aces to a 19-run win over Sri Lanka’s Ruhunu in their warm-up match.

Trinidad & Tobago 167 for five (Adrain Barath 46, Denesh Ramdin 71 not out) bt Kolkata Knight Riders 101 for nine (Ryan ten Doeschate 27, Samuel Badree three for seven).
Auckland Aces 195 for six in 20 overs (Martin Guptill 98, Collin Munro 35) bt Ruhunu XI 176 for eight in 20 overs (Sanath Jayasuriya 38, Mahela Udawatta 34, Dinesh Chandimal 36).
