McGill battle Uitvlugt SC at Wales today
The West Demerara Cricket Association (WDCA) Countryside Agri t20 cricket final will be played at the Wales Community Development Centre from 13:00hrs today.
Exciting competition is expected between Mc Gill Superstars and Uitvlugt Sports Club who both qualified for the final after playing unbeaten in their respective zones.
Thirty Two teams participated in this competition and the winner, runner up, MVP Finals, best batsman and best bowler for the tournament, will all receive trophies and attractive prize money.
The West Demerara Cricket Association’s Marketing and fund raising committee will be providing a party atmosphere complimented by a Carib Bar and music.
The WDCA provided free cricket balls for this entire tournament and Cricket lovers are asked to support today’s final since all proceeds will be used to employ a full time coach for the under-15 level.
