2011 General Elections…
Notwithstanding the fact that a definitive date has not yet been announced for General and Local Elections, the Guyana Elections Commision (GECOM) is moving ahead to order criticial materials, including ballot papers.
Bids for this and other supplies were opened yesterday by the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB).
Two companies, one of them from Trinidad (Bricha Limited), submitted bids for these ‘sensitive’ documents (ballot papers) as they were described.
It was unclear whether the Trinidad company’s low bid was for a single lot or the entire contract.
Below are the bids submitted and opened:
