Prolific golfer Colin Ming was the winner of the Muneshwar’s Ltd. Medal Play Golf tournament played over the weekend at the Lusignan Golf Club. Ming shot a net 66 to edge out Roger Rajkumar who shot net 67. Third place went to Carlos Adams who shot 68 in a highly competitive event sponsored by ardent golfer Robert Hanoman who also participated but failed to make it in the prize hunt.
However, officials of the Lusignan Golf Club paid glowing tribute to Hanoman who has been sponsoring the tournament for many years.
Club secretary William Walker said that Hanoman’s contribution was significant to the sport and he lauded the stalwart for this continued contribution.
The other outstanding performers were Mohanlall Dinanauth who had the best gross of 73 and Chatterpaul Deo who was Nearest to the pin.
