The 29th Annual Three Stage Cycle Road Race organized by the National Cycling Coach, Hassan Mohamed MS for the 45th Independence Celebration sponsored by National Sports Commission will commence on Saturday 14th – Sunday 15th May.
The stage routes are:
Saturday 14th May – 1st Stage: Start at 07:30h – Corriverton Police Station to Alexander Street New Amsterdam 46.6 Miles (75km)
Saturday 14th May – 2nd Stage: Start at 14:30h – Rosignol – Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown 60.4 Miles (97.1km)
Sunday 15th May – 3rd Stage: Start at 08:00h, Linden Kara Kara to Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown 64.5 Miles (103.3km)
Total distance approximately 171.5 Miles (274.3km).
Cyclists are required to register their names by Wednesday, May 11 during normal working hours at the National Sports Commission Office, 91 Middle Street, South Cummingsburg.
Transportation will leave the National Sports Commission Office at 12:00hrs with cyclists and officials for Springlands, East Berbice Corentyne.
Cyclists are reminded to wear their club jerseys, numbers issued before and walk with their licence before the start of the event.
