The Mindfield Draughts Club will stage its inaugural National Champions of Champions Tournament on January 30, at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue, starting from 10:00 hrs. According to a release from the Organisers, registration commences at 08:30 hrs and closes at 10:30 hrs. The release added that over $100,000 in prize monies and trophies will be up for grabs and the competition will be played in three classes A, B and C. Players are being asked to register early to allow for the smooth running of the day’s activity.
The tournament is being sponsored by Oasis Water, Prudential Industrial Technology, CB general Contracting Services, Kaieteur Springs and Brazo’s Work Shop.
