Norman Madhoo’s absence saw a struggling Sudesh Fitzgerald emerge winner of the Sign Arts Tint Shop Open Singles Tournament played, at Power Darts Club, Grove Housing Scheme E B D.
Vibert Yearwood ended as the runner-up after missing the double in the final game, allowing Fitzgerald to win 3/2.
In the semi-finals, Yearwood beat Bholonauth Ramdial, while Fitzgerald defeated Wilfred Jagnarine.
The results of the Open Doubles were 1st.Colin France/Mark Persaud 2nd.Francis Correia/Nicholas Seetaram.
Losing semi finalists were Sudesh Fitzgerald/Anthony Bissondial, who lost to the pair of Correia/Seetaram, while Anil Lachman/Lallchand Rambahrose bowed out to the eventual winners.
The draw doubles saw Fitzgerald and Kishan Ramdeen beat Colin France/Anil Lachman to reach the finals, while Nicholas Seetaram/Wilfred Jagnarine won from Ravi Budhu/Vijai Parsatoon, but lost the finals to Fitzgerald/Ramdeen.
The Doubles Games Sponsors were Robby & Sons Mechanic Shop and Yasin’s Auto Spares.
