Dear Editor,
When the Golden Jaguars meet Haiti in the opening match of the Digicel Caribbean Championship second round in Soca Land on November second, only one word Skipper Howard Lowe will whisper to his troops (revenge).
The 1974 World Cup Finalist humbled the land of the Majestic Kaieteur Falls one nil and three-one the only time the two countries met at the Senior International Level, January of 1973, both matches were contested at the Guyana Sports Club ground Thomas Lands. Although Skipper Lowe was not born when Ken Gibbs men succumbed to the Haitians in 1973, he is cognizant of his predecessors who lost the battle.
Now Lowe’s Men will fight the war on neutral ground we await the results of Mission search and destroy.
