On April 6, a slim brown skinned male, approximately 5ft 7″ tall, and of East Indian descent, was ‘found’ slouching in a wheelchair in the Accident and Emergency Unit around 14:22h.
According to hospital reports, he was severely dehydrated, his eyes were sunken and he was experiencing shortness of breath. As a result, the Emergency room staff were unable to ascertain his name, age, address or next of kin.
The unknown male was subsequently admitted to the Male Medical Ward where he succumbed on April 7, at 07:40h (less than 24h after admission).
The hospital’s Public Relations office is seeking information that can lead to his identification and is asking the public to contact the office on 227-8234 or the Medical Social Workers’ Office on 227-0057.
