M. Beepat & Sons joined the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) in co-sponsoring the Life Skills Programme presently being conducted by the GCA in collaboration with the Commonwealth Youth Programme.
At a simple presentation ceremony, Managing Director of M. Beepat & Sons, Jonathan Beepat in handing over a cheque for $100,000 to the President of the Georgetown Cricket Association, Alfred Mentore said he was happy to be a part of the Programme and congratulated the GCA for its foresight and vision in making it possible.
Mentore, a former Guyana youth batsman, thanked Mr. Beepat for his timely contribution and assured the city businessman that the workshop will make a difference in the lives of the young participants.
In addition, Mentore thanked Bishwa Panday, former President of the GCA and its current Marketing Consultant for arranging the sponsorship.
Mentore explained that through Panday’s involvement, the GCA has been able to reach the business community on this and other initiatives.
