Members of the Guyana Association of Scrabble Players (GASP) will be in action this Friday November 27 when the GASP stages the Eid-Ul-Adha Open tournament.
The venue is yet to be decided but GASP executive are eying the Georgetown Cricket Club, ground. However, a cricket match is scheduled to be played on that day and executives are not yet certain if that venue will be available. The final venue would be decided upon in advance of the competition date.
Players are reminded that the GASP executives are very rigid with the starting time. The registration period commences at 09:30hrs and the tournament gets underway at 10:00hrs. Players arriving late would be penalized as GASP is determined to set high standards for all tournaments falling under its auspices.
