A man who pleaded not guilty to three robbery charges was remanded yesterday.
Dwayne Duncan was refused bail after appearing before Magistrate Nigel Hawk to answer charges of armed robbery, robbery with violence and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
It is alleged that on October 20, while armed with a gun, Duncan robbed Keith Fraser of a Motorola cell phone and one mountain bike.
It is also alleged that on the same day the accused had in his possession two .32 live rounds without being licensed.
He was also found with one .32 revolver in his possession without being licensed.
Duncan pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
The magistrate refused to grant bail to the accused who is expected to return to court December 16.
