Aurora beat JCCH by 8 wickets
Aurora SC defeated Johanna Cecelia Community High by 8 wickets as play in the South Essequibo Cricket Committee U-19 50 overs Cricket competition commenced last Saturday.
At Aurora Ground JCCH batted first and scored 81 all out in 18 overs with Babindra Persaud getting 25 as Marlon Paton grabbed 4 – 20 for Aurora who replied with 82-2 in 18 overs. Paton returned to top score with unbeaten 45.
At Pomona, the game between Santos SC and Golden Fleece SC was washed without a ball being bowled. The competition continues on Saturday.
