Off-spinners Denis Squires and Kevin George shared 16 wickets between them to help DCC to first innings points against Everest at DCC over the weekend in their 2-day Raymond Panday/Cummings Electrical GCA 2nd division cricket competition.
Azad Mohamed (32) and Marlon Mangru (26) offered some fight as Squires (6-26) and George (4-48) spun Everest out for 141.
Denver Greaves (58), George (35), Utom Munroe (32) and Squires (30) led DCC to 213 as Mohamed took 4-58 and pacer Andrew Lovell 3-7.
Everest in their 2nd innings reached 382 with Khemraj Ramdeen (88), Mohan Ramdeen (80) and Wayne Pereira (60) led the way with the bat as George took 4-54, Squires 2-60 and Steven Giles 2-50. Set 311 to win, DCC struggled to 98-8 when play ended with Jaspaul Gangaram made 25 and George 24.
Christopher Surat captured 4-26 and Mohamed 2-28 for the Camp Road team.
