Correction
The Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) does not engage in fortnightly billing as was incorrectly stated in an article published in the Wednesday’s edition of this newspaper. Rather, the entity bills its customer on a quarterly basis, a change from its annual one-off billing approach.
The article attributed the inaccurate statement to Chief Executive of the entity, Mr Yuri Chandisingh.
