Dear Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to ask Vishnu Bisram to not be too offended by what Freddie Kissoon writes.
Freddie Kissoon would like to be thought of as the “Greatest Guyanese thinker in and out of Guyana.
He has even used his column in one of Guyana’s premier newspapers (Kaieteur News) to lambaste a “poor person and their family” saying that these “poor people” manners offended him and his family.
Another person would recognise that Freddie Kissoon may get invited to many “functions” but the “poor family” probable get invite to just one function in a decade.
As Freddie has built his house in Georgetown (albeit because the main University Campus of The University of Guyana is in Georgetown) he feels that he has to kiss-up the Peoples National Congress (PNC) and tear into us “country folks” because Georgetown take all the money for development and leave us without a proper garbage collection service. And, then they have the gall to want to take the garbage out of Georgetown and dump it into the rural communities.
As for Freddie: Anytime he wants to he can form his own political party and run for High Office and then show us how simple it is to get progress when the vast majority of the World Governments struggle to achieve a decent degree of development. Sean Brignandan
