Dear Editor,
John Da Silva thinks he can escape intelligent discussions about the PPP and PNC’s performances by repeating his many fairy tales.
Da Silva should know he is exposed and his fake stories would no longer be accepted. Here’s the truth.
The PPP is in government for 17 years and can no longer deny ownership for the social, political and economic decay in the country. Burnham is dead 24 years and Hoyte six years. Jagdeo is alive and in power for a decade.
Da Silva said the PPP is an opened book and can answer any questions. Answer these John:
Who gave Roger Khan permission to purchase the tracking device and run a phantom squad? Why hasn’t the government denied Khan’s claim he helped them in crime fighting?
When will those involved in the Charity Wharf, Law Book, Milk, Vehicle, and Dolphin scams, to name a few, in addition to the admitted millions of dollars missing at the Office of the President, be charged?
Why the government refuses to pay Mrs. Hoyte?
Why the PPP refuses to give the AFC its won Linden parliamentary seat and allows Sam Hinds to continue to wrongly occupy it? Isn’t this electoral fraud and rigging?
Why the government refuses to compensate those who lost millions during the Great Flood in 2005, 2008 and 2009?
Which government is responsible for the Guyana dollar trading at 200 plus to one US and imposes a 16 percent VAT that is killing the working poor?
President Jagdeo boasted he had intelligence former army officer, David Clarke, was involved in criminality; how could he not have the same intelligence on Roger Khan?
Why the government gives taxpayers’ money to FITUG and PPP unions and refuses to give taxpayers’ money to the TUC and Critchlow Labour College?
Why after growth of the Hoyte’s Economic Recovery Programme that ended in the mid-1990s the country has been in continuous decline, now rated worse than Haiti and with repressive freedom?
Why the President enjoys berating Freddie Kissoon, the media, opposition, Caribbean leaders and trade institutions when they do not agree with him? Is this acceptable presidential behaviour?
Why did President Jagdeo mislead the world in thinking he was legally married, when all these years he was living-home?
Why did Guyana only show 4% import duty paid on imported vehicles for 2007? What happened to the 96%?
Humphrey Charles
