Scotia Bank Kiddy Cricket set for launch today
The WICB in collaboration with Guyana Cricket Board and Scotia Bank launches its 2009 Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket programme at the Guyana Cricket Board office, Regent Street Bourda, Georgetown, today from 10:00hrs.
According to a release from the organisers, many Primary schools from across the country will have an opportunity to participate in a planned Kiddy Cricket Competition during the months of February and March.
Eight (8) of these schools (Zone winners) will be given the opportunity to attend the West Indies versus England One Day International on the 22 March.
Over the years Scotia Bank has been able to excite many young boys and girls with this great sport of cricket. Scotia Bank, WICB and the GCB once again look forward to meaningful and productive Kiddy Cricket activities in 2009.
