Rage ravish opposition to win Stag Beer Domino title
Derrick Lambert is player of final
Player of the final and captain of Rage, Derrick Lambert led his team to victory in the Stag Beer 12-team domino competition which was hosted at Sweet Point Bar, Orange Walk Sunday last.

Lambert and his teammates, who amassed 59 games, blew away the challenge of Titans who took second with 42 and Blue Birds third on 32.
The champion team was decided from the first sitting with Rage marking 11, Titans 6 and Blue Birds 5. The advantage either way never shifted as the respective teams maintained their hold in the similar positions until the end.
Stag Brand Manager Anjeta Hinds was on hand to present the prizes to the top three teams who were rewarded with cash and trophies. Rage pocketed $50,000, Titans $30,000 and Blue Birds $20,000.
Proprietor of Sweet Point, Ronald Bettencourt was honoured by the sponsor for the uses of his premises while the captain of Impressions, the only female team to compete was also recognised. Organiser of the competition was Linden ‘Poison’ Bascombe. (Franklin Wilson)
