The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) released the names of twenty-seven players to vie for selection to represent Guyana Over-35’s against a visiting Trinidad Enthusiasts team on November 1.
The players called are: Conrad Arjoon, Ovid Austin, William Blackman, Leonardo Butcher, Peter Campayne, Rawl Cole, Vernon Duncan, Alair George, Walter George, Kenneth Grant-Staurt, Curtis Jacobs, Alex King, Wayne Lawson, Wesley Licorish, Stuart May, Terrence McAlmont, Clive Montouth, Christopher O’ Donoghue, Robin Roberts, Gilbert Sampson, Lawrence Smith, Sherlock Solomon, Betram Taylor, Raul Warren, Michael Whitehead, Henry Wilkie and Gregory Wills.
Practice sessions for the team will be held twice weekly on Sundays from 10:00 hrs and Tuesdays from 16:30 hrs, starting from October 7, at the National Park under the guidance of Coaches Alton Agard and Troy Yhip.
Meanwhile, it was disclosed that a Meeting will be held tomorrow (October 5) where the Secretary will update members on the proposed visit by the Trinidadians.
