East Central outclass South Pakaraimas 5-0 in Heritage football
South Pakaraimas females were no match for their East Central Rupununi counterparts, losing 5-0 when play in the Amerindian Heritage football tournament kicked off yesterday at the St Ignatius Sports Club ground.
Florence James opened the scoring four minutes into the contest, while Phyllis Lorentino hit home a double, Iona Stephens and an own goal ensured East Central won handsomely. The tournament continues on October 5.
