D’Andrade, Johnson enjoy good results in T&T

Johnson finished second in the race with a time of 32:44.00 seconds while D’Andrade ended third in 33:00.00.
Trinidad’s Richard Jones won the event in 32:24.00. Ballantyne had a surprising sixth place finish in the race.
D’Andrade expressed elation yesterday over the fact that he was able to beat arguably the Caribbean’s most dominant distance athlete and two–time St Vincent and the Grenadines Olympian, Ballantyne.
“It was the first time me and Kelvin beat him. We went into the race real confident,” D’Andrade told Kaieteur Sport from Trinidad. He said that they are preparing for the upcoming marquee South American 10Km run slated for next month.
