Floodlights XIII takes on Mount Everest Lodge today

The Floodlights team will take on a special select squad representing Mount Everest Lodge of Church Street, Georgetown in a 25 overs per innings softball cricket match at the YMCA Cricket Ground today starting from 10:30am.

This game is being played as a fund raiser for the Mount Everest Lodge where Bar-b-Que tickets were pre-sold and still available.

The winner’s trophy for this match is being sponsored by businessman Saykar Boodhoo, Managing Director of Saravin Sawmills at Parika, EBE. Admission is free.

The teams will come from: Mount Everest Lodge Squad – Anand Chand (Captain), Ray Seebaran, Roger Viapree, Saykar Boodhoo, Kisoondyal Singh, Harry Mathai, Kumar Sharma, Arun Mangar, Iqbal Alli, Oliver Insanally, John Romoutar, Eddie Muneshwar, Talim Karambolla, Fidel Singh and Jones Ragubar.

Floodlights Squad – Pitamber Maharaj (Captain), Rohan Boojraj, Jailall Deodass, Derick Romoutar, Ramesh Sunich, Mikes Singh, Goverdhan Arjune, Mahadeo Doodnauth, Surendra Nauth, Jaipaul Baharat, Sham Nokta, Raymond Mohammed, Sheik Mohamed, Reaz Hussain and Ricky Deonarain.
