BFA/Coca Cola division 1 to resume Sunday

Cougars lead with 9 points

After being forced to halt matches due to the rainy season, which left grounds in an unplayable state, the 2008 Berbice Football Association/Coca Cola division one competition is scheduled to resume on Sunday with three matches.

In a bottom of the table clash, host Rosignol United will entertain Corentyne from 16:00hrs. Neither team able to register a point so far.

Over at the Mahaicony ground the first of two matches brings together Rainbow Generation and Real Union who are on 3 points each.

The main attraction will see Mahaicony United, locked in a 3-way tie in second place with New Amsterdam United and Brazilla, opposing Paradise Invaders in what would be their first match of the League.

Cougars are on a perfect 9 points in the lead blasting in a total of 14 goals so far while conceding 4.
